The Grascals Take Over New York City


When you think of New York City, a lot of thoughts come into your head. It’s an eclectic place in every aspect, and music is no exception. The Big Apple has it all, even bluegrass. In a candle lit Highline Ballroom rich with the smells of good wine and even better food, The Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America’s 2010 band of the year, The Grascals, brought their smooth sound to the big city this past Sunday.

Country Music Stars Join the Boot Campaign


Several of country music’s biggest starts are putting on army combat boots in place of their cowboy boots. Marcus Luttrell, a New York Times best-selling author and Unites States Navy SEAL retiree was the inspiration for this boots campaign. The Boot Campaign is a medium of getting Americans to give back and express their gratitude to our armed forces.
