Boys Like Girls to Release “Crazy World” in December

Boys Like Girls took the music world by storm back in 2006 with their hit, “The Great Escape.” Six years and two full-length albums later, the band is back with its third full-length album, Crazy World. Recently the band announced that Crazy World would be released on December 11, 2012 on Columbia Records.

The new album was produced by the band’s singer/guitarist/songwriter Martin Johnson. The first single off Crazy World is “Be Your Everything,” which just started to receive radio airplay. The video for the single can be found on YouTube. Over the summer the and also released the Crazy World EP, which gave fans a preview of the new album.

Crazy World comes off as a more mature sound for Boys Like Girls but still gives fans the catchy and infectious songs that they know and love. “Crazy World takes you to a different place,” says Martin Johnson.  “That was the point. Everything is so hyperactive and the digital distractions can be overwhelming. Step aside in this Crazy World and experience the things that truly matter.”

Currently the band is on a 38-date headlining tour with The All-American Rejects. The tour began on September 13, in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire and will continue to make stops in many major cities. For the complete list of tour dates and ticket information, visit www.boyslikegirls.com/events.
