Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Throwing Gravity, started in 2008 under a different name and now finally has arisen from the ashes.
Surrounding Nick James in the band is Adam Gooch on guitar, Sam Hindmarsh on the bass and Eric Bice on the drums. I asked Nick to tell me a little about what their music is about. Nick responded with, “It’s large guitars, large drum, melodic melodies, about more and less keeping it full blown rock; songs that are straight forward that you can get the meaning out of them by just listening to them. Most fans can listen to one of our songs and relate to them right away.”

They recently toured with 12 Stones, Blameshift and Digital Summer to boot their careers back on track. It had been a while since they were able to tour after all the turmoil; it helped to get Nick to get “pumped back up.” He continued with, “It got the blood flowing again, guys are excited, now to be able to actually play the album to people and see the reaction to the songs. Our fans had been waiting a while to hear everything live. Even meeting new people who haven’t heard the stuff, to seeing there reaction as well. They would come up to us after the show just blown away. It felt great.”
Look for these guys back on tour very soon and make sure to pick up their debut album “It’s Not The End.” For more information check out their Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/ throwinggravity.
