But what really put Michelle on the map was her two season appearance on VH1’s Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta in 2012. Her confidence and belief in herself was quite apparent on the series. “I’m a rebel, a firecracker,” Michelle explains. “I do what I want to do.” It caused some controversies which moved her out of television but into a new opportunity in the record studio once more when she signed with Warner Brothers Records.

Since performing live on NBC’s Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, ABC’s Good Morning America, and having their single featured on FOX’s Glee, their single ‘I Love It’ has officially been certified Platinum by the RIAA. Just last night, May 19, they performed on the Billboard Music Awards. The song is currently sitting at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

In light of their recent success, the duo now finds themselves in the same league as fellow historical nationals Ace of Base, whose hit single ‘All hat She Wants’ went Platinum back in 1993.

While the girls are currently putting the final touches on their debut album due out later this year, fans can catch them this summer on a string of festival dates that include Lollapalooza and Governor’s Ball in NYC.

The highly anticipated tour, titled ‘The Iconic Tour’ is presented by TIGI Bed Head, and starts in early August.

Hong Kong and Singapore are the two most established touring markets in Asia, outside of Japan, and Lushington has been operating in the region since 1990 when it was established to promote Eric Clapton’s first Asian tour. Last year, Live Nation promoted seven sold out performances between Hong Kong and Singapore for Lady Gaga. In 2012 alone, the two companies presented approximately 70 shows an sold 280,000 tickets across the two markets.

Our new joint venture with Lushington will increase our presence in Asia and enable us to bring more live entertainment to more fans in Hong Kong, Singapore, and throughout the region.” Live Nation Lushington will be headed by Michael Roche, former Managing Directo of Lushington Entertainment. Their first joint venture event will be Linkin Park on August 15, 2013 in Hong Kong.

Her album RED won Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Country Album. The album which was released in October of last year has already sold more than 5.8 million copies worldwide, with 1.2 million in the U.S being sold in its first week of release. Her first week sales became musics biggest first-week sales number in more than a decade. With RED, Swift became the first artist since the Beatles, and the first female artist in history, to log 6 or more weeks at #1 with three consecutive studio albums. She is also the only female artist, and just the fourth artist ever, to have 2 albums hit the 1 million first-week sales figure.

Taylor, dubbed “officially the new Mick Jagger” by Vanity Fair is Billboard’s youngest ever Woman of the Year. She is currently on the road for the North American leg of her RED Tour, and just announced last week that she will be taking her show to Australia and New Zealand later this year, where she will be the first solo female artist in 20 years to undertake a national stadium tour of Australia.

Swift, who write all of her own songs, is a seven-time GRAMMY winner, and is the youngest winner in the history of the music industry’s honor, the GRAMMY Award for Album of the Year. Taylor is currently nominate for two CMT Music Awards. That show will air on June 5, 2013 from Nashville.
