4-Time Grammy Winner Taylor Swift To Headline 87 Stadium And Arena Shows In 19 Countries In 2011
Taylor Swift announced today that she will tour the world in 2011 in support of her blockbuster Speak Now album, which shattered sales records with over a million copies sold in its first week of release.
Taylor is currently slated to play 87 shows in 19 countries spanning four continents on the TAYLOR SWIFT SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR 2011, which kicks off February 9th in Singapore.

With 1,046,718 copies sold in the US in the first week of release, Taylor Swift’s Speak Now album has scored SoundScan’s biggest single-week sales total since 2005 and is the biggest debuting country studio album in history.
Speak Now accounted for 18% of total albums sold this week, setting a new record for percentage of total sales in a single week. One out of every five CDs or download sales this week was Taylor’s Speak Now album, which was released on Big Machine Records.

Multi-platinum selling recording artist, songwriter, and 5-time Grammy winner Carrie Underwood has recorded the end title song, “There’s a Place for Us,” for the holiday motion picture event THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER in theaters December 10th.
